Busy day on Saturday 19 May

As well as a certain wedding and a cup final, the day continued as your committee and Music Director sat down to discuss the repertoire and arrangements for our concert on Saturday 6 October and came up with some detailed plans.  To be confirmed shortly - and dates for rehearsals are now on this website.

Then there was a rehearsal in the cool of Palestra, well away from crowds and bunting.  We refreshed 'National Express,' learned 'Pastime with Good Company,' supposedly written by Henry VIII, and started work on the lovely 'Fields of Athenry'.  More work is to be done during Tuesday's rehearsal, also at Palestra at 17:45 for 18:00. Oh, and we discussed adding some more MP3 Files to the website so that members can practice between rehearsals and brush up on what we have just learned during these sessions. They're now known as 'Sing-along-with-Ralph' for reasons which may be obvious.
