At our first two rehearsals we went over Soave sil vento and Nella Fantasia and started learning Only You. Really fun rehearsals and a nice sound!

The ABBA medley was particularly popular and they loved our sound. Well done LTC!!

Many thanks to the ever effervescent Marika Rauscher, making her LTC debut on piano! We started the first set with the glorious tones of our soloist Robert Allen singing ‘Stand by me’ ... when the choir kicked in it was an impressive sound and the harmonies were beautiful. Our duetting Palestra girls were next (Jenny and Sam) and I thought they blended together beautifully easing us into a rousing Mamma Mia medley! Our second half (we had to use all the projection we had!) went excellently well with rousing performances of both Proud Mary and Blame it on the Boogie! We ended as we began with my personal favourite ‘Stand by me’ We received lots of compliments from Michelle Dix to security guards (I was even told in the loo that one lady thought we were professionals!) So a success all round and I’m a very proud MD! Good night! AmyBeth Beel |
