A summer message from Bob Aley
A very happy August to you and for those getting away on a well-earned leave I really hope that you enjoy it and come back rested and refreshed. For those of us on leave later in the year or whose leave is a distant memory I hope that you enjoy the quieter month of August and the sunny weather we are having at present. Whilst the choir is not rehearsing together doesn’t mean that you don’t have to look at your music for the coming season, I would encourage all to have a gander at the music and rehearsal files and just keep singing bits of it to keep it familiar, also please remember that AmyBeth wants us to sing Pastime with Good Company without using the sheet music and words during the performance. Keep singing and smiling during the summer and it will soon be 4 September and we will be back together again.
If you know anyone who you think wants to join us then please encourage them to do so. One final thing, I know some of you have been asking about the Christmas season, well it’s in hand and several members of the committee have been working on moving this forward so the event go ahead. Our next event is the joint European English concert on 6 October at St Paul's Church Marylebone.
Have a great summer and see you in September.
